The management of the affairs of the InSPA is entrusted in accordance with the Rules and Regulations of the Association to the Governing Council of the Association.

Admission and Fees

There are three types of members.

A. Life Member

All those who are qualified Graduates with psychology, known to be of good character in the community, may become Members of the Association and shall be members by remitting Rs. 3000/- and will be called Life Members.

B. Institutional Member

Institutions with interests related to the Association may become Institutional Members by remitting Rs. 10,000 /- on one time basis.

C. Annual Member

Rs. 600 /- on annual basis.

Special Features:

  • Quarterly update of activities will be given in the website -
  • Members will get quarterly InSPA Newsletter. First issue appeared in January, 2010.
  • Members are entitled for concession in the Registration fee at the annual conferences.
  • The InSPA is publishing InSPA Journal of Applied and School Psychology. The Journal publishes a wide range of original empirical research related to School Psychology, cross - cultural replications of promising procedures and descriptions of technology transfer.
  • Members will be united with the help of State level conveners. The list of conveners is available in the website -
  • Members will be given preferences to undergo International training in School Psychology.
  • Members will be recommended for participation in the International conferences on request.
  • InSPA awards on various categories have been instituted to encourage Indian School Psychologists. Members may recommend/apply/nominate suitable persons every year.
  • Members may suggest best practices for School Psychology Programmes.


Any person, who is qualified as a graduate with psychology, known to be of good character in the community, who is committed to promoting human values and development of school psychology and accepts the Aim and Objectives of the Association, is eligible for admission as a member in the Association, and may be introduced by one member of the Governing Council. No individual shall claim his/her membership in the Association as a matter of Right.


All Members shall pay an admission fee of Rs. 100/-, in addition to the membership amount, and in any case the membership amount and admission fee will not be refunded.
